Purchasing Tickets

It's easy to come along to one of our productions or events with a range of ways to purchase tickets.

Box office

Tickets to all performances and events held at Laycock Street Community Theatre and the Peninsula Theatre are sold directly through Laycock Street Community Theatre’s box office.

The box office is manned on Monday to Friday from 10am to 5pm, and one hour prior to each performance for ticket collections and purchases.  


Online Booking provides the convenience of booking tickets 24 hours, seven days a week. To buy tickets online, search for your event and follow the prompts through to booking. 

Please ensure the performance date and time is correct prior to confirming your booking. 

You can either print your tickets at home, or collect them from the box office during opening hours. 
A $3.20 transaction fee is applied to online bookings. 

Note: the first time you purchase tickets online you will need to create an account. To do this, please select ‘Create New Account’ on the right hand side of the sign in page. The next time you visit you will only need to enter your login details.

You account allows us to assist you quickly should you have any enquiries or need tickets to be reprinted. It also allows our database to recognise theatre members and provide online access to member priority seating and ticket prices for the relevant performances.

Personal Information 

When purchasing tickets online, you will need to provide certain personal information, including your name and contact details. Without this information, your purchase cannot be processed. 

This information is stored so that we can contact you in the case of any unforeseen changes to the performance schedule.

To book your tickets over the phone, please call the Laycock Street Community Theatre on 4323 3233, from Monday to Friday between 10am and 5pm. 

Payment for ticket purchases over the phone can be made by Visa or MasterCard. 

Your tickets will be available for collection from the theatre box office during opening hours, or one hour prior to your performance time.

A $3.20 transaction fee applies to phone bookings. 


Discounts and concessions may be available for some shows, depending on the performance. 

You will need to indicate when booking if you are claiming a concession or discount. Please note that concession holders must have their cards when attending a performance.

Group Bookings 

If you are making a booking for a group, you may be able to take advantage of discounted ticket prices. 

Minimum group numbers and prices differ from show to show, as they are negotiated with producers and touring companies directly.

A limited number of accessible parking spaces are available for RTA permit holders only.
We will attempt to accommodate your seating requirements, including requests for wheelchair access, aisle seats, seating close to the stage for better viewing and audio assistant technology. 

Please advise the box office staff of your requirements when booking your tickets.

Exchanges and refunds 

Unfortunately, we do not accept refunds or exchanges. If capacity exists, we may be able to transfer you to another performance of the same show. 

Under exceptional circumstances, such as serious illness, refund requests can be made in writing to the Theatre Manager, who will assess each on a case-by-case basis. 

Gift vouchers
