The library was officially opened and dedicated to the community on 16 September 1983.
Public parking is available across the road in Bullion Street.
The front entrance of the library has a ramp. However, there are no accessible toilets.
Babytime 9.45am Mondays, for babies up to 2 years.
Toddlertime 10.45am Mondays, for toddlers 2 - 3 years.
Storytime 10:30am Tuesdays and Thursdays, for preschoolers 3 - 5 years.
Science Storytime 10.30am on the last Tuesday and Thursday of the month, for preschoolers 3 - 5 years.
